Sprowls’ Service Station at the northeast corner of Donaldson’s Crossroads in 1951. The gentleman on the left is Irwin Sprowls, the younger man on the right is Howard Aggers. In 1935, this was the site of the Donaldson Service Station; it was leased to Irwin Sprowls and Barney Hixon and became a Standard Oil (Esso) Service Station. A new building was constructed in the 1940s.
