Are you tired of using the same recipes every month? Interested in trying a new cuisine or healthier recipe options? The PTPL Cooking Club meets for the members to share their knowledge about
various cuisines with others in the club, to discuss cooking trends, and share food samples. Participants must register for the upcoming meeting in advance. Registration is not complete until payment is received; register at the library's circulation desk. Please indicate on the
registration sheet if you are interested in being a volunteer chef for this month's meeting. You will be reimbursed for your cooking expenses and your registration fee. For more information about the club,

What is a Laughter Club? Laughter Clubs promote laughter inside to support happiness outside. Participants get together to use laughter to improve health and outlook, as laughter can reduce stress, strengthen your immune system, and lower your blood pressure.
Laughter Clubs utilize a systematic activity approach that is based on a foundation of practices, such as yoga, meditation, and modern medical science. Members of Laughter Clubs are engaged in active and interactive participation.

Are you interested in learning how to save money in your monthly budget? Then the Peters Township Public Library Couponing Club is for you!
Join is as we meet to swap coupons, exchange ideas and strategies for using coupons, and maintain the Coupon Swap Box in the library.

PETERS TOWNSHIP PUBLIC LIBRARY BEADING CLUB
When: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Ages: 12 and up
Facilitator: Karen Krohner of Beads 2 Wear
Come one, come all, come bead! Bring your UFO's (unfinished beaded "objects"), or begin a new project. Sit and bead in the company of other bead fanatics. Help is available, if needed. Facilitated by Karen Krohner of Beads 2 Wear.

WRITER'S WORKSHOP
When: Mondays

Cost: $20.00 per month
The Writer's Workshop meets weekly at the library and focuses on writing
for children and teenagers. Please contact Pat Easton at patheaston@aol.com if interested in joining. Anyone with an interest in this area is encouraged
to attend. Both fiction and non-fiction are acceptable as well as work for the
magazine or book market industry.
ADULT WRITING WORKSHOP
When: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (no meeting on November 24)
Time: 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Leader: Linda Foltz
Are you passionate about writing and looking for someone to critique your work? If you would like to give and receive inspiration, motivation, and encouragement in a
group atmosphere, consider joining the Adult Writing Workshop on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Facilitating the writing workshop is author Linda Foltz, whose accomplishments include a published
book and articles that have appeared in various magazines, including Seventeen, Teen Voices, and Family Resources Magazine. She has also been featured on local and national radio and
television, including The Montel Williams Show. Linda believes her writing success is due largely to the ongoing support of members of her first writing group – eventually
all of its members were professionally published. Linda is currently working on her second full-length manuscript.
Adult writers of all skill levels and genres are welcome to this free program. Pre-registration is required; please register for this program at the library’s circulation desk or call 724-941-9430.
"ROOTS" GENEALOGY CLUB
When: 2nd Tuesday of the month
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Guide: Cathy Pigford
Interested in learning more about your roots? Join us for an informal gathering as we share
resources, information and methods for exploring your family's history. All are welcome.
Memorabilia and other items of interest are encouraged! Register at the library's circulation

PHOTO CLUB
When: 2nd Wednesday of the month
Time: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $15.00 (annual dues)
The Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Photography Club meets in the library on the
second Wednesday of every month except July and August. The club, begun in 1981, is dedicated
to providing a forum where members can learn from guest speakers and from other members
techniques to improve their photography -- both film and digital. An annual juried exhibition
provides an opportunity for members to display their photographic skills. Annual dues for the
calendar year are $15.00, payable in January to the club treasurer.
